I'm Back for More!

Hello my wonderful friends! I apologize for not posting in so long...my beloved hairless cat, Mr. Foozy, passed away. I have been mourning his death for the past months. He was the light of my world, and gave me so much inspiration for my writing. I can assure you he died a peacefully, painlessly, in his sleep. He was wearing his favourite sweater (with it's matching booties) and was sleeping in his favourite bed. I have written a poem in his honour.

Mr. Foozy

He was from the light,

from the longing of love.

He was from where the cuddles never cease.

(receiving pat after pat

and continuing to purr).

He was from where the cat food was plentiful,

living in the land of joy.

He was from where the sun shone,

Bringing warmth to his body.

He was from where the wisdom is passed on,

(the knowledge that only one could know).

He was from where toys are found,

Like a spoiled child playing day after day.

He was from where the more means the merrier,

Where extra treats were always welcome.

He was from where the nights are clear,

Where darkness is not something to fear.

Where he was from is what made him whole,

It brought him life and history.

I hope you enjoyed this poem I wrote in his honour. RIP Mr. Foozy, you will be greatly missed.
