Hello my amazing friends, Dillfinger is back with another toothbrush story! I hope you all enjoy this story written by myself and Maia G. about a girl named Cornelia.
Cornelia had always dreamed of working at California State Prison. She lived to see the brawls, to hear the arrest stories, to serve the convicts lunch at the cafeteria.
Cornelia looked down at her unappetizing meal, no, it was not good enough to be a meal. It was slop. Pig slop. Oh, how she wished for some real food. I hamburger, a steak, or even plain spaghetti! Just as she was about to lift her black plastic fork, she saw Sniper coming. Sniper basically ran the prison. Everyone was scared of her.
“Mashed potato or cauliflower puree?” asked Cornelia, her hair net slipping over her eyes.
Cell Number 32 frowned and pointed at the potatoes.
Cornelia let out a huff, she didn’t want to have anything to do with Sniper. Just because she killed 15 people with a sniper riffle didn’t mean that everyone had to do whatever she wanted. But people in prison were strange.
The alarm sounded for the end of lunch hour. The prisoners swiftly snatched the last of their bread buns and filed out of the dining chamber. Cornelia sighed: today had only brought two arsons and one love song.
Cornelia didn’t want any trouble, so she simply stood up and walked out of the cantine, leaving her pig slop behind. She walked back to her cell, where her cellmate (known as Shorty) was sitting, reading a letter.
“What!” cried Cornelia, snatching the travel visa from the captive. “You can’t do that! You’re the descendant of a pig!”
Shorty’s bright orange jumpsuit was unzipped, and the sleeves were tied around her waist, revealing her white tank top underneath. She studied the paper for a few seconds before looking up at Cornelia, grunting, and tossing the paper aside. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, a tray from the cafeteria flew into the cell and crashed into the wall, right beside Shorty.
“We need quinine,” said the convict from cell 32, “right now. Instantly. It is crucial to our lives, and to the life of the tortoise living under the bunk.”
Cornelia was about to pick up the tray, something that no one saw coming happened. The tray burst open and out of it came a massive net that enclosed both Shorty and Cornelia. The net was attached to a rope that was being pulled towards the cell window. The window was barred, but suddenly the bars had disappear. The two were pulled out of the cell. They were free. Or so they thought…as soon as they broke free from the net, Sniper was in front of them with her sniper rifle…what followed next, well, you can probably guess. Sniper shot all the guards and they all lived happily ever after.
Let me know what you thought of the story!
